My story
Hi, I’m Brittany, owner of Prairie Ridge Flowers. Floral design, for me, has always been about more than beautiful blooms. It is about storytelling through texture, colour, and movement. I am endlessly inspired by the natural world and the way it effortlessly balances grace and wildness.
Growing many of my own flowers has deepened my appreciation for the subtleties found in every stem. The way tones shift with the light, how petals fade into unexpected hues, and how each bloom holds its own quiet beauty.
What began as a creative outlet has become a true passion for crafting refined, intentional floral experiences that feel both timeless and artfully undone. I believe great design lies in the balance between structure and softness, elegance and ease, nature and nuance.
Each design I create is a reflection of my clients’ unique story, brought to life through thoughtful detail and a deep appreciation for beauty in its most natural form. My goal is simple: to create florals that move you and moments you will never forget.
The Farm
I have been designing with flowers for many years, drawn to the way they tell stories through colour, texture, and movement. Over time, I felt a pull toward something even more connected, something that allowed me to not only design with nature’s beauty but to nurture it from the very beginning. That search led me to growing my own flowers, deepening my understanding of each bloom and the subtleties that make them truly extraordinary.
What began as curiosity quickly became a calling. Working with flowers grounded me in a way I hadn’t felt in years, connecting me deeply to nature and reminding me of the quiet beauty found in stillness and imperfection. As my passion grew, so did my garden and my vision. Each season brought new lessons and a deeper appreciation for the artistry of floral design, the textures, tones, and fleeting moments that make every arrangement unique.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family and my generous parents, who graciously share their land and time as I continue to grow this dream. Together, we have built something that is both deeply personal and endlessly inspiring, a place where creativity, connection, and beauty take root.
